Mycellium: The New Styrofoam?

I first read about Mycellium years ago when I because interested fungi, but it has made a resurgence as a commercial packaging product that is durable, biodegradable, and looks interesting.

Spring Fever

It's getting green outside, despite a brief period of snow yesterday afternoon and evening. I find one of the most visually stimulating times of year to be the period of spring where all the foliage is lime green and the bark and soil are the rich dark browns and reds that contrast so nicely. And the air smells fresh and earthy at the same time.

Due to my tendency to move a lot I have no house plants of my own. I end of living vicariously through my computer screen. This particular collection belongs to another blogger, you can check out the project here:

In other news, I am moving my living situation so this will be a slow week. [ceramicly speaking]
