Images of the Tanukis and Dangos at the Millenium Park Boeing Galleries. Unfortunately the Jun Kaneko exhibition I was so excited to see has been closed off with crowd fencing and I haven't been brave enough to sneak in during the day. This at least gives you an idea of what the space looks like.
Works by the very talented Paul Scott, who is defying the institutional boundaries between craft, design, and fine art in a variety of ways. Scott has produced functional and installation works along with teaching and writing. A contemporary icon of appropriating classic and historical ceramic forms and patterns into provocative pieces, he comments on the passing of old traditions and the reformation of the industrial landscape.
